A disclosure first: we make ReplyChamp, one of the tools on this list. To keep it fair, every fact about the other tools comes from their own websites, and we say where a site didn't answer a question rather than guess.

Birdeye
Birdeye now describes itself as AI coworkers for multi-location brands. It covers reviews from more than 200 sites, listings, social, a chatbot, appointments, surveys, ticketing and competitor tracking.
It’s the broadest tool on this list. That breadth is why people look for alternatives: a single-location owner can end up paying for a lot they never open.
- Pricing: Not published. You ask for a quote.
- Getting started: Demo or quote form.
Podium
Podium sells an AI employee for local businesses. Its main jobs are answering new leads, booking appointments and bringing back past customers. Reviews are part of it, with review invites and AI replies for Google, Facebook and other sites.
Pick Podium if missed leads cost you more than unanswered reviews. If reviews are the only part you need, it’s likely more tool than you want.
- Pricing: Not published. You talk to sales.
- Getting started: Demo.
NiceJob
NiceJob is built around getting reviews: it asks customers after each job, shares the good reviews, and adds referrals, repeat-customer campaigns and surveys. It is aimed at home services, auto, beauty and wellness and professional services.

ReplyChamp
ReplyChamp does one thing: it replies to your Google reviews. It connects to your Business Profile, drafts a reply to each new review in your own voice, and emails you when one needs you. It doesn't ask for reviews, manage listings or cover other review sites.
Every draft waits for you until you've approved 10. After that you can let the ratings you pick post on their own. Reviews about health or safety, legal threats or refund disputes always wait for you.
- Pricing: $7 per location per month, or $70 per year. First 10 replies free.
- Getting started: Sign in with Google and connect your profile yourself.
How to choose
- Start with the job, not the tool. Do you need more reviews, faster replies, help with leads, or all of it?
- Count your locations. Birdeye, Reputation, Yext and SOCi are built for bigger teams. With one or two locations, a smaller tool is usually enough.
- Get the price in writing. For quote-only tools, ask for the monthly price, setup fees and contract length before the demo ends.
- Check who approves replies. Make sure a reply to an angry or sensitive review can never post without you.
- Try it first. NiceJob, GatherUp, Grade.us and ReplyChamp all offer a free trial or free start.

Common questions
Who are Birdeye’s main competitors?
Podium, Reputation, GatherUp, Grade.us, NiceJob, Yext, SOCi, Broadly and Signpost all sell review management. Each leans a different way: Podium and Broadly toward leads and messaging, Reputation, Yext and SOCi toward large brands, Grade.us toward agencies, Signpost toward home services, and NiceJob and GatherUp toward smaller businesses.
What is the cheapest Birdeye alternative?
Of the tools on this page, ReplyChamp costs the least at $7 per location per month, but it only replies to Google reviews. Among the broader review tools, NiceJob’s Starter plan at $75 a month is the lowest published price we found.
Which Birdeye alternatives publish their prices?
NiceJob, GatherUp, Grade.us, Reputation, Broadly and ReplyChamp show prices on their websites. Birdeye, Podium, Yext, SOCi and Signpost ask you to talk to sales or request a quote.
Do I need a full reputation platform for one location?
Usually not. Most single-location owners need three things: a way to ask for reviews, a way to reply to them, and a Business Profile that’s kept up to date. You can ask with a free review link and QR code, and reply with a small tool or by hand.
Can I try ReplyChamp before paying?
Yes. Your first 10 replies are free and no credit card is needed. You can also try the public demo with a made-up café without signing in.
