NiceJob alternative: when you need replies, not more review requests

NiceJob is built to get service businesses more reviews: it texts or emails every customer when a job is marked done, from $95 a month, with AI replies on the $135 Pro plan. If reviews already come in and answering them is what falls behind, a reply tool costs far less.

NiceJob facts checked on November 4, 2026, from NiceJob's own website and the listings named in the sources.

The short answer

NiceJob and ReplyChamp solve two different problems. NiceJob is mostly about asking: it sends a review request after each job, follows up if the customer doesn’t answer, and shows your best reviews on your website. AI replies are one part of its higher plan.

ReplyChamp is only about answering. It drafts a reply to each new Google review in your own voice, and you decide which ones post on their own. So the real question is which job you need help with. If you get two reviews a month, you need NiceJob’s half. If you get twenty and answer five, you need ReplyChamp’s.

NiceJob pricing vs ReplyChamp

NiceJob publishes its prices. Both plans are monthly, in US dollars, with a 14-day free trial and no contract. Its pricing page doesn’t say whether the price is per location.

Getting reviews or answering them: which problem do you have?

Open your Google Business Profile and look at the last 30 days. Two numbers tell you most of what you need:

  • New reviews this month. Under five, and asking is your bottleneck. NiceJob’s automatic requests are built for exactly that.
  • Reviews with no reply. If more than a handful are sitting there unanswered, replying is your bottleneck. Every unanswered review is read by the next customer too.

Plenty of owners have both problems. In that case, NiceJob Pro covers both in one bill. If you only have the second one, you’d be paying for referral campaigns, broadcasts and surveys you won’t open.

Can you use NiceJob and ReplyChamp together?

Yes, and some owners will want to: NiceJob Starter for the review requests, ReplyChamp for the replies. That costs less than NiceJob Pro and gives you replies written in your own voice, with the hard ones held for you.

The one rule: don’t let two tools answer the same reviews. If you move up to NiceJob Pro later, turn off one of the two reply features so a customer never gets two answers.

Getting more reviews without a paid tool

If you pick a reply-only tool, you can still ask for reviews for free. Get your review link and a printable QR card from our review link and QR code tool, and ask every customer at the end of the job, not only the happy ones. Our guide on how to get more Google reviews covers what to say, and the two things Google doesn’t allow: offering anything in return for a review, and only asking people you expect to be happy.

When NiceJob is the better choice

  • You get only a few new reviews a month and want every customer asked automatically.
  • You already use Jobber, ServiceTitan or Housecall Pro and want requests sent when a job closes.
  • You also want referrals, repeat-customer campaigns and review widgets on your website.

If that’s you, start NiceJob’s 14-day trial and see how many reviews it brings in during the first two weeks.

When ReplyChamp is the better choice

  • Reviews already come in. Answering them is what falls behind.
  • You want replies that sound like you, not like a template.
  • You want to pay for replies only: $7 a month for each location.
  • You’re not a service business, or you don’t use a field service tool.

Every draft waits for you until you’ve approved 10. After that, auto-reply posts only the ratings you pick. 1–2★ reviews wait for you unless you deliberately choose All reviews, and reviews about health, safety, legal threats or refunds always wait.

Moving your replies from NiceJob to ReplyChamp

If you’re on NiceJob Pro and only want to change who writes the replies, it takes about ten minutes:

  1. Turn off NiceJob’s AI Replies first, so no review gets answered twice.
  2. Sign in to ReplyChamp with Google and connect the Business Profile you already reply from.
  3. Approve your first 10 drafts. ReplyChamp learns how you write from the replies already on your profile.
  4. Choose what posts on its own. For example, 5★ only. Everything else waits for you.
  5. Keep or drop NiceJob Starter for review requests. Your past replies stay on Google either way.
